After landing in San Fransisco, we went immediately to my list of restaurants to visit while here! Coincidently, the Boot and Shoe Service got amazing recommendations from friends and Refinery29. I loved the dark wood + brick vibe, with green accents and great looking people.
My family ordered an starter, and two entrees to share (although I also wanted to order a bit of our cute waiter).
The appetizer was the happy boy farm fried squash blossoms with cucumbers, radishes, and mint. It was so interesting and delish!
The first entree to share was the hand cut tagliatelle with morel mushrooms, English peas, and crème fraîche. I am a die-hard morel fan, and these were some of the best.
Lastly, we ordered a pizza with housemade sausage, tomato, sauce, Calabrian peppers, panna, and added arugula. The sausage was just the right amount of spice, and the crust was great.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to someone who likes great food, a great atmosphere, and something new.
