Although my paintball-inflicted-bruises are still healing from last night, a cup of licorice tea and this cool weather is doing the trick. Fall has always been my favorite season because I love to layer my clothes, and I have a penchant for knit sweaters. I am wearing a Free People motorcycle jacket ($148), a H&M sweater ($18) over a thrift store maxi dress ($9), with my Ecoté ankle boots ($69), and a Scarlet Garnet Hinged Chevron Drape Necklace ($75).
Scarlet Garnet has become one of my new favorite jewelry designers and has (frankly awesome) trendy, yet completely unique pieces. Scarlet Garnet is a locally owned business that opened in 2006 and has been evolving since then. I love their use of different metals, neons, and woods. Their jewelry tells a story of a girl whose style changes but still revolves around the same theme, much like their idea that they wanted their pieces to be wearable for all seasons. My two favorite pieces are the Bow and Arrow Earrings, and the Multi Metal Chevron Necklace. Scarlet Garnet is available at Birdies.
