A Darker Ballerina

After a delicious brunch at Bluestem, my family and I went to Union Station to see the brand new “The Science of Rock & Roll” exhibit. I loved looking at the clothes through the decades at the opening of the exhibit along with vintage Metallica concert T’s and posters. Sometimes I truly feel like I was born in the wrong era when I watch movies like “Pirate Radio” and even “Dazed and Confused,” but all of those feelings were solidified even more while retracing the history of rock & roll. I have always connected with the 60s and 70s the most, because I love the concept of living a simpler lifestyle. Plus the music is the best.

With that, I am wearing a light pink petti-coat-inspired skirt over black tights, and under a black knit sweater. I am also wearing a rose colored scarf with a motorcycle jacket and platform ankle boots.
