CD Envelope

Happy Valentines Day! I always look forward to Valentines because it is a celebration of love, and what could be better than that?! I made a friend of mine a mix-tape and envelope for the CD. Here is the tutorial below! Have a sweet day :)

Materials:

– 14×11″ Paper

– Scissors

– Pens of your choice

– Washi tape

– a ruler

– the CD

measurement5.5

Measure 5 1/2 inches vertically and cut the paper

14x5.5paper

You should be left with approx. a 14×5 1/2 inch rectangle

Make a fold a the 4″ mark

Then again at the 9″ mark

Fold in the 4″ flap and mark a half-dome

Cut out the crescent

Open the cover so it is right-side in, and repeat for the outer flap. This time you are cutting away the negative space instead of creating negative space.

You should end up with this sort of fishy shape

I am attaching the envelope together with washi tape, but this could also be done with clear tape, glue, or tabs!

When writing the playlist, go from bottom to top, and use a ruler to make sure the song and artist are in line.
