I have been slowly but surely reorganizing each “section” and compartment in my room, with the goal to be more minimal, and investing in pieces that make a statement or are classic. This weekend’s project was my dresser/vanity. I used a small plastic container to hold my makeup, and was struggling to find a different way to organize it! I garner inspiration from Pinterest frequently, and made a board specifically for vanity and closet looks, styles, and organization.
I decided I would go with a shiny, metal tray and went to a local thrift store to find one. At Savers, I found this metal serving platter for $6.00, as well as a cool scotch glass (which is holding my eyeliners) for $1.00, and a tin and crystal bowl for $3.00 (which is holding my brushes and “tools”). I absolutely love it because I use more of my products since I see them in front of me everyday. It takes up less space than the cheap plastic organizer did, and obviously looks better too.
