Au Revoir 2013

HA what a fucking year it’s been.

Last year I said: “I can not wait to move gracefully into 2013, continuing to pursue my passions but with a more clear idea of who I am and the person I strive to be as I grow.”

Through opportunities with LMDJ and birdies, challenges at camp, discovering who my true friends are, and heartbreak & love, I feel like I have become more of myself. I strive everyday to become better, to be conscious of my actions, and to take better care of myself, but I also understand that it’s okay to be sad or emotional, and that you have to experience those feelings to get to the good stuff. I have become less ignorant regarding the world, and more eager to explore it. Learning to do my makeup correctly is definitely a stepping stone in a woman’s life, as well as finally acquiring must-have closet pieces, like a perfectly fitting black sweater dress. But the best part is understanding my body, and what I need to be the best me. 2014 will be a big year: turning 18, graduating high school, going to college…it’s a transitional year, and it will be a challenge, but I can’t wait.

I love documenting my life and sharing it with the ones I love. Here is a chronological collection of some of my favorite moments from 2013.
