One thing I have been dying to do is make a terrarium. I get so much inspiration from botany, and having a little “garden” in a jar is right up my alley. My sister, Chloe, got me a moss terrarium makers kit, and it came with everything you need to create a beginners-level terrarium! I watched their how-to video as I made mine, and embellished it a little differently.
The kit came with a bottle, sand, pebbles, and dried moss. No need to worry about killing anything, because with moss terrariums…you can’t!
I love how mine turned out, and I can’t wait to make more! The next one, I hope to use soil and make a living terrarium.
{ rehydrating the moss }
{ I made a funnel out of a receipt so it would be easier to get the “ingredients” in }
{ first layer of pebbles and sand! }
{ rehydrated moss! yay! }
{ more sand and moss }
{ the kit also comes with a stirring stick so you can adjust your pieces in the bottle }
{ some baby shells and sand dollars I added }
{ moss water – yum }
{ finished product! }
