I love making personalized cards for friends and family on their birthdays or for special occasions. I typically just use drawing paper and a few pens or colored pencils to capture the ideas in my head. I like to draw something funny, unique, cute, and I am always inspired by American Traditional tattoos. I love the minimal color palette, ribbons, fonts, hearts, and sail boats. Yet sadly sometimes I don’t have the time to make the card I want, therefore I always have a little stack of backups to use or embellish. If I am just writing a sweet note “just because,” I’ll use black stationary from Paper Source with my white pen. I also like to stock up on Hammerpress cards when they have $1 mis-print sales for times like that too. I can’t wait to post more photos of my custom cards on this new section of LMDJ!
My “collection” of back-up cards
I’ll often make a card to fit one of these envelopes so I don’t also have to make an envelope
I just like this postcard
This Moleskin letter was a gift. You can write a letter and then it turns into a little notebook!
