One of my hobbies is making homemade cards and wrapping gifts. I love making personal cards for friends & family on their birthdays or special occasions, and sometimes those are accompanied by sweet little gifts. I decided to start a new section on my blog specifically to showcase this hobby of mine, and so this week I will dive a little deeper into my creative wrapping process.
First off comes the organization of my tools. I keep the “tools” I use the most in a wooden box (sans lid) in my desk. In here contains scissors, tapes, stamps, string, and writing utensils. What I use most are: a white gel pen, black drawing pen, fabric scissors, double stick tape, wash tape, and bakers twine. I currently am using black stationary for personal use, and have found that this white Uniball pen is the best option. Trust me, it is worth spending $4 on it instead of the $1 white gelly-roll pen that doesn’t work as well. Anyway, this is just the start of it…stay tuned to see how I make my cards & wrap the gifts!
