New Year’s Day Brunch

On New Year’s Day, we went to Danielle and Matt’s lovely home for brunch! It was a refreshing way to start the New Year and makes me hopeful and excited for 2015. My mother and I made a pavlova, which is a large baked meringue with homemade whipped cream and berries. I think it is important to be a competent chef, and this recipe was easy and impressive. Happy new year!
